Key Responsibilities
Assist Medicare-eligible individual telephonically in the following ways:

  • Market plans in the states from which Consumers are calling and in which the Agent is licensed and appointed
  • Educate
  • Qualify for meetings and appointments
  • Provide objective information pertaining to coverage, annual notice of chance, pharmacy/network coverage, and drug formularies
  • Secure compliant enrollment into appropriate plan

May support additional needs Skill Set:

  • Strong desire to "Help Seniors Live Healthier Lives" by educating them on available plans and assistance in enrollment in a plan that meets their healthcare needs
  • Is a people person with the ability to sell
  • Minimum six (6) months proven consultative sales experience
  • Proven success in a call center or similar structured work environment
  • An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Prior stable work experience
  • Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications which include the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications and apply their use for phone and non-phone activities
  • Ability to not only understand complex Medicare programs but to be able to explain/articulate these programs to Consumers in ways that are clear, correct and objective
  • Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid Health Insurance License
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Typing speed of 25 WPM with 90% accuracy required
  • Ability to up-sell and help customers find the right product
  • Previous work experience with Windows Web-based applications required
  • Prior experience with prescriptions drug plans, Medicare or medical terminology preferred
  • Prior experience in the healthcare/insurance industry preferred
  • Professional appearance, dependability and flexibility required
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, listening and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to speak and write the English language clearly and audibly using correct grammar
  • Customer focused
