Dialog Direct is looking for a high-quality Licensing Specialist that has a positive attitude with the ability to connect with others. The Licensing Specialist will be preparing all applications and supporting documents for new licenses as well as filing relevant paperwork with the supporting insurance company and insurance regulators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter data into the licensing database
  • Prepare all applications and supporting documents for new licensees and file relevant paperwork with supporting insurance company and/or insurance regulators
  • Track and file license renewals by States required due dates
  • Prepare all changes of demographic notices and affiliation applications for insurance regulators
  • Report new license and renewal activities
  • Update the licensing database as required
  • Monitor agent continuing education and send reminders to agents
  • Record continuing education activity in the licensing database system
  • Assist in preparing carrier appointment paperwork
  • Review licensing database system for all pending appointments and contact carriers to confirm status as required
  • Review appointment renewal dates and submit licenses as required to ensure all appointments remain active
  • Advise of any potential delays in active appointments
  • Assist management team with deployment of Agent Licensing Management System and provide suggestions for improvements
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Applications, i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must be able to navigate State websites to research information
  • Experience with Departments of Insurance and government agencies is required
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is required
  • Knowledge of State licensing processes is required
  • Must be organized, have strong attention to detail and be able to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Must have positive attitude with the ability to connect with and persuade others
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive subject matter
