Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K

The Order Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for SOF inventory handling and all other SOF functions. This The individual needs to be a licensed forklift operator and have the knowledge and ability to use radio frequency scanners for order picking and fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload boxes of material from pallets
  • Verify and correctly label items/material and pallets
  • Move pallets of freight within warehouse and storage locations
  • Pick items/materials from inventory locations
  • Pack orders
  • Print and affix shipping container labels
  • Follow client shipping rules and requirements
  • Ensure that ASNs are submitted to client and confirm that those ASNs are received and accepted by the client
  • Coordinate expedited build and pack requests when a customer requires an unexpected increase in order quantity from inventory on-hand
  • Open boxes of material (box cutter)
  • Unpack/unwrap items/material.
  • Count and validate items/material
  • Set-up and operate applicable packaging equipment in department (hand tape gun, box tape machine, string tie wrapper, banding machine, etc)
  • Stretch-wrap pallets of material
  • Quality check orders and verifying item match
  • Maintain and complete daily forms
  • Perform housekeeping in assigned areas
  • Train others on procedures and processes
  • Correctly follow written and verbal instructions
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
  • 1+ year of general warehouse experience
  • Hand-held HRT Radio Frequency Scanner/Transponder knowledge and/or experience
  • Ability to be Hi-lo certified (valid driver's license OR proof of corrected vision that meets the same requirements)
  • Ability to pass basic aptitude test
  • Pass basic math and reasoning test
  • Knowledge of Packaging Methods
  • Visual speed and accuracy
  • Ability to correctly categorize and classify different items
  • Knowledge and compliance with company Safety and Security rules, and Lean 6-S practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English
  • Ability to lift items/boxes up to 50 pounds, repetitively
